Write your weekly reflection and use the Journal

Your weekly reflection is a short set of questions about the week, plus your targets against what you actually did. Two places ask the same questions and file the same reflection: the Reflections page and the Journal.

They differ in one way that matters. The Journal shares your reflection with the team the moment you press Save reflection. The Reflections page keeps your answers as a draft on the device until you tap Share.

Reflections sits in the rail’s Quick group when your district has the module switched on. Journal is one of the rail’s tools.

A reflection is due Sunday at 23:59, Singapore time. You can still file until Monday 23:59, and it’s marked Late. After that the week reads as overdue.

The box above the questions counts down: Due: with the time left, then Late window ends: once Sunday has passed. After you file, it reads Reflection submitted with On time or Late.

To file this week’s reflection:

  1. Open Reflections, then My Reflection.
  2. Check the week under Week, which starts on This week.
  3. Fill in Targets vs actuals.
  4. Set Plan next week if you know next week’s targets.
  5. Answer each question.
  6. Press Share.

The banner at the top of the form says it plainly: your answers save as a draft on this device, and only reach Community when you tap Share. Each week keeps its own draft.

Actuals fill themselves from the activities you logged, and targets carry over from last week. A blank row under Plan next week keeps this week’s target.

An answer gets its tick, and counts toward the progress ring, once it has 10 characters. Under that, the line below the box says how many more it needs.

The reflection lands in Community, where your team can give kudos and comment. A reflection for the current week also emails you a copy.

On the Reflections page, the AI Coach panel opens with a short coaching reply to what you wrote. The first reflection you file in a week can earn Activity Credits, if your district awards them.

Pressing Share with only Plan next week filled saves those targets and files nothing. The toast says Next week’s targets saved.

Your filed reflections for the week sit under Your Submissions, each as Submission # and a number.

  • Edit loads it back into the form, and Share becomes Update. Saving overwrites that submission, with no new number and no credits.
  • Delete asks first, and says it can’t be undone.
  • Resend email sends you the copy again.

You can file more than one reflection in a week. Each one gets the next submission number.

The Journal is the same form in a quieter page: the due box, Targets vs actuals, Plan next week and the questions, with no week picker. It always files for the current week.

  1. Open Journal.
  2. Answer what you want to answer.
  3. Press Save reflection.

On a desktop, the Shared badge beside the Journal heading is there as a reminder. Under the button it says Saving shares it with your team. The toast that follows says Reflection shared.

Until you press the button, your typing is kept on this device, and Draft saved appears beside it. A reload or a lost tab won’t cost you the answers.

Your last 30 filed reflections list under the form, newest first. The bin on one asks before it deletes, because teammates will no longer see it in Community.

I filled the Reflections page and closed the laptop. Did my team see it?

No. Nothing leaves that device until you tap Share, and the answers wait there as a draft.

Can I file last week’s reflection late?

Yes, on the Reflections page. Pick the week under Week; the list goes back 12 weeks. The Journal only files the current week.

Why does the Reflections page say Late window?

It’s past Sunday 23:59 and before Monday 23:59. Anything you share now is marked Late.

Who writes the questions?

An admin sets your agency’s questions on the Settings tab of Reflections. With none set, you get the built-in ones.
