Log a closed case
A closed case carries more than a tap. It records the policies, the annualised premium and the Year-1 FYC, and those figures are what your average case size and your income projection run on. See Set your weekly, FYC and case size targets.
Log the case
Section titled “Log the case”To log a closed case:
- Open
Log. - Pick the person in
Client (linked on closed cases), if this case belongs to a contact. - Tap
Closed. - Pick the product under
Policies Closed *. - Type the annualised premium.
- Check
Year-1 FYC. - Press
Log Deal.
The Log Deal button carries the points it will give you, so it reads
Log Deal (+5 pts), and Log Deal (2 policies) (+5 pts) once there is more than
one row.
The Year-1 FYC field
Section titled “The Year-1 FYC field”Year-1 FYC fills itself from the rate on file for the product you picked, and the
line under it names the rate it used. Type over it whenever your real FYC differs;
Reset to auto puts the calculated figure back.
For a product that isn’t in the list, type its name. Once nothing in the list
matches, a Use line appears with your wording on it, and pressing that adds the
product. Nothing off the rate table has a rate on file, so a custom product needs
a Year-1 FYC typed in before the button will let you log the case.
More than one policy
Section titled “More than one policy”Add another policy adds a row, and the bin beside a row removes it. The panel
above the notes totals Total Annualised Premium and Estimated Year-1 FYC across
every complete row.
A row you started and left half-finished holds the button rather than vanishing
quietly. The amber line above Log Deal names it, such as Policy 2 needs an annualised premium. Finish it or remove it, and the button comes back.
Notes and photos
Section titled “Notes and photos”Notes & Learnings (Optional) goes out to the community with the case, so write
what worked. Photos (Optional) takes up to 6 images, each one 10MB or smaller.
Who closed it
Section titled “Who closed it”Who closed this? at the foot of the form is Just me until you say otherwise.
Press a partner chip to log the case for a tag team, or press the dashed chip
beside them to search a teammate and pair with them there and then. Points and FYC
split half and half, and the case counts once for the duo.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”The dialog closes and a message names the policy and the points you earned. Your district’s group chat gets an announcement carrying the policies, your notes and any photos you attached. If you picked a client, that contact becomes a client on your board.
Where the case lands
Section titled “Where the case lands”Closed cases, under CRM in the left rail, is the whole log. It opens on Your closed cases with Cases, Total FYC, Avg Case FYC and Premium across the
top, the same 30D to All windows underneath, and the cases themselves grouped
by month. The window starts on All.
A tag-teamed case is labelled Tag-team and names your half, because half the FYC
sits on each partner’s row while the premium stays whole.
The pencil on a row opens the case again. See Edit or delete something you logged.
Does the form keep what I typed if I close it by accident?
Yes. The policies, notes and photos are saved as a draft and come back the next time you open it. They clear once the case is logged.
Can I log a case for a day I missed?
Yes. Set the date button on the Log page before you tap Closed, and the case is
dated to that day. See
Log an activity and earn points.
Can I log a case without a premium?
No. A row needs both a policy and an annualised premium above 0 before it counts as part of the deal.
