Work handed to you, and handing a lead on
A conversation can be put on you by somebody else. A workflow does it with its
Hand to a Person step, and anybody working a
thread can do it by hand. The lead
sheet stays whosever it was. What changes is who’s expected to answer.
How you hear about it
Section titled “How you hear about it”Your bell rings, and the same message reaches your Telegram and WhatsApp assistant if you have either connected. It names the lead, who handed them to you and the last thing they said, and the button on it opens that conversation.
To switch it off, open Notifications,
then Telegram assistant, and under People and teamwork turn off
A conversation handed to you. It starts
on, which the assistant’s other alerts don’t, because nothing else tells you.
The handover alert on WhatsApp goes to the number on the lead sheet, and that
sheet is somebody else’s.
Quiet hours apply to it like the rest of the assistant’s alerts.
Find them in the Inbox
Section titled “Find them in the Inbox”Work handed to you sits outside the business you’re reading, so the list has its own way in.
To find it:
- Open
Inbox, thenConversations. - Press the
Handed to mechip above the list. It only appears when something is handed to you. - On a phone the chips are hidden, so the row above the list reads
Handed to you: 2. Press it.
The list then shows those conversations whosever sheet they’re on, and the business picker stops narrowing it. A stage or a saved view still does, and the number on the chip counts what the list will show.
Answer one
Section titled “Answer one”Open it and reply as you would your own. You can read the whole thread, send, use quick replies and shortcuts, and change the stage or who is on it.
The rest of that colleague’s inbox stays theirs. One conversation is handed over, never the sheet it sits on.
Hand one on
Section titled “Hand one on”To put somebody else on a conversation:
- Open the conversation and press
Details. - Under
Who is on it, pick the person. Nobodytakes it off everybody and gives it back to the assistant.
It saves as you pick, and the person you chose is told the same way you were. Picking yourself tells nobody, since you already know about it.
Three people can change who is on it: the advisor whose lead sheet it is, whoever is holding the conversation now, and a district admin. Anybody else who tries is told why it was refused.
