What you can ask the assistant

One assistant, two doors. In the app it’s the Ask anything button in the bottom-right corner of every page. It opens a panel whose Home starts with an Ask anything box: type there and the answer opens on the panel’s Assistant tab, which is the chat itself. On a wide screen your workspace pages carry a second Ask anything bar along the foot, on Contacts, Tasks, the planner and the rest. On your phone it’s a Telegram chat. Both reach your own tasks, notes, contacts and numbers, and both work in plain sentences, so there’s no syntax to learn.

The same panel holds what shipped, the feedback board and the help centre, on its other tabs. See Send feedback or reach a person for those.

See Connect the Telegram assistant for the Telegram half.

The assistant reads what you meant. “log 2 sets”, “lgo 2 sets” and “2 sets leh” all reach the same place.

  • Logging: “log 2 sets”, “just closed a case”, “I closed a case worth 12k FYC”
  • Tasks: “what’s due today?”, “remind me to call Mr Tan tomorrow”, “I finished the BOP deck”
  • Notes: “note: the Tan family wants education planning”, “find my note about the Lim family”
  • Routines: “tick off my morning prospecting”, “what is my streak on cold calls?”
  • Your numbers: “how am I doing?”, “where am I on the leaderboard?”, “am I improving?”
  • Your day: “what is on today?”, “block 9 to 11 for prospecting”
  • Contacts: “who’s in my pipeline?”, “move Jane to proposal out”, “who haven’t I contacted in 30 days?”
  • Leads: “how many leads are waiting on me?”, “reply to Rex: yes we are still running it”
  • Anything you wrote: “what do I know about Mr Tan?”, “what did I promise the Wongs?”

Managers get their team as well: “who is on my team?”, “how is Dave trending?”, “assign Dave a task to update his pipeline”.

  • Tell it what to remember. “remember I only take client calls after 6pm” sticks, and it uses it later.
  • Send it a link. It reads the page, then saves the points as a note or turns them into tasks.
  • Ask it to search the web when your own records don’t hold the answer.
  • Ask for a pep talk, an objection roleplay, or a draft follow-up message. None of that touches your data.
  • Report a bug, or put a request on the feedback board for other advisors to vote on.

In Telegram, send a voice note or a photo. A 12-second ramble on the way to the MRT becomes a note and a follow-up task. A photo of a handwritten list becomes tasks. In the app, the mic dictates your question and the paperclip attaches an image or a PDF.

Commands exist for what a sentence can’t do in one tap. Telegram lists them above the message box.

  • /log logs an activity from your district’s own list
  • /tasks shows your open to-dos, with a tick to complete one
  • /brief is today’s rundown on demand
  • /note saves the text after it exactly as you typed it
  • /reflect opens this week’s reflection questions
  • /team is the manager view: your people this week
  • /health is what the assistant got wrong this week
  • /alerts, /new, /help, /connectlark and /unlink handle the rest

The assistant works as you. It can’t read a colleague’s private notes, reach another district’s records, or act on anything your role doesn’t already open. Before it deletes something it asks, and the confirmation only works for the person it was sent to.

Does it remember what I said earlier?

Yes. The thread carries across messages, so “make it Friday” after “add a task to call Jane” does what you’d expect. /new in Telegram starts a clean one.

What if it gets my question wrong?

Say it again in different words. The thumbs on an answer in the app tell us where it disappoints, and “tell the developer …” files it as feedback.

Can I ask it something it has no data for?

Yes, and it says so rather than inventing a figure. A week with nothing logged gets you an honest empty answer.
