Connect Lark (Win Financial Group)

The Lark connection is for Win Financial Group only. Other districts don’t have the Lark Workspace card, and nothing in this article applies to them.

Once it’s connected, the assistant can read your Lark calendar, chats, docs and Bases, and edit the records you ask it to. It acts as you, and only when you ask.

Connect from the app

To connect Lark:

1. Open Integrations, under Account in the left rail.
2. Open the Lark Workspace card.
3. Press Connect Lark. Lark opens in a new tab.
4. Sign in with your team Lark account and approve.

A personal Lark account can’t authorise this. It has to be your team account.

The button waits while you approve, and Lark connected appears once it’s through. If nothing has happened after 3 minutes, a message asks you to finish approving in the Lark tab and open the card again.

Connect from Telegram

If Lark shows an error page, send /connectlark to the Telegram assistant instead. It replies with a link and a code, and the link is good for 10 minutes. Sign in with your team account, approve, and the bot confirms in the chat.

Lark allows one of these links at a time. If a teammate is part way through, the bot tells you roughly how many minutes to wait. The Connect Lark button in the app has no such wait.

Already connected? /connectlark names the account it’s using. To switch accounts, disconnect in the app first.

Check the connection

A connected card reads Connected as with your Lark name and the date. Open the info mark beside it: access refreshes by itself, and you can ask the Telegram assistant about your Lark calendar or leads.

What it can see opens the permissions you granted, grouped, each marked read only or read + write.

An amber line appears if the connection has expired. Until you reconnect, the assistant can’t see your calendar, chats or Bases. A quieter line warns when access hasn’t refreshed in over a day.

Note

Lark connection expired is one of the messages the assistant sends by default, so Telegram tells you too. See Choose what the assistant sends you.

Disconnect on the card ends the connection.

My district isn’t Win Financial Group. Can I connect Lark?

No. The Lark connection is set up for Win Financial Group only.

Does the morning brief use my Lark calendar?

Yes, when Google Calendar isn’t connected or has nothing on for the day. Google Calendar events come first.

Can the assistant delete something in Lark?

Yes, when you ask, and only after you confirm.
