Read your funnel and find the leak

Your funnel follows 4 activities in order: Set, Opening, Closing and Closed. The Funnel page shows how many of each you logged, what share made it to the next step, and which step loses the most.

To open your funnel:

  1. Open Leaderboard in the left rail. Without the leaderboard module the section is called My numbers.
  2. Press Funnel, under My numbers.

The buttons beside Sales funnel are This week, This month and This quarter. They count back 7, 30 and 90 days from now, so This week isn’t Monday to Sunday. The page opens on This month.

Three tiles sit at the top:

  • Overall conversion is closed cases as a share of sets, Set → Closed.
  • Cases closed gives the count, with the sets it came from underneath.
  • Premium closed adds up the annualised premium on those cases.

The bars below give the raw count at each step. A batch from Bulk counts at its full number, so an entry of 6 sets adds 6.

Under the bars, 3 tiles give each hand-off: Set → Opening, Opening → Closing and Closing → Closed. Every rate rounds to a whole percentage.

The small arrow under a rate compares it with the range before, the same length back. It reads in points, so 4 pts means 4 percentage points up or down.

Biggest leak names the hand-off with the lowest rate, as Biggest leak · Opening → Closing at 25%, followed by one line on what to work on.

It only judges a step once the stage before it holds at least 2 entries in the range. With 1 set and no openings, Set → Opening sits out.

The leak is the lowest percentage, and that can differ from the smallest bar. Say you logged 40 sets, 10 openings, 8 closings and 6 closed cases. Closed has the smallest bar, yet the leak is Set → Opening at 25%, because the other two hand-offs run at 80% and 75%.

Why is a rate over 100%?

You logged more of the later step than the earlier one in that range. It usually means some sets went unlogged, so check your logging before reading it as a result.

Why does the page say No funnel activity in this range yet.?

Nothing named Set, Opening, Closing or Closed was logged in the range. Try This quarter.

Do closed cases from a tag team count?

Yes. Your half of a tag-team case is an entry on your record, so it counts once in your Closed bar.
