Set a goal and track your pace

A goal is a number, a deadline and the progress you’ve made against it. The useful part is the second number the card shows you: how far along you’d expect to be by today.

Goals groups your goals by period and gives each one a card with a bar, a status and an Update button.

To set one:

  1. Open Goals.
  2. Press Add goal.
  3. Tap one of the Quick start chips, or type a title of your own.
  4. Set the unit, the Target and where you are Now.
  5. Answer By when?.
  6. Press Add goal.

The units on offer are $, S$, %, kg, km, hrs, pts, cases, clients and policies, plus No unit and a box for one of your own up to 12 characters. It matters more than it looks: the unit is what the pace line counts in.

By when? offers End of the current quarter, End of the year and In 90 days. Pick date opens a date field for anything else.

More options holds what the common case doesn’t need.

Number target is the default. Switch it to Milestones and the goal becomes a checklist instead of a bar, with each line you add ticked off in its own time.

The five categories are Sales, Money, Health, Growth and Other. Picking one fills in the icon until you choose an icon deliberately, after which yours wins.

Period is free text with chips beside it for 2026, H2 2026, Q3 2026, Q4 2026 and Q1 2027. It’s what the card is filed under, and it’s also the start of the runway your pace is measured against, so a goal marked 2026 is judged against the whole year rather than the day you typed it in.

The bar has a tick on it at the point you’d expect to be at today, and the gap between where you are and that tick is shaded. Beside the percentage the card says the expected figure too, as 40% vs 55% expected.

Under the bar, Needs gives you the monthly figure that still closes the gap, such as Needs $9,400/month for 6 months.

The badge on the card is worked out from the same two numbers. Within 10 points of expected reads On track. Within 25 reads At risk. Further behind than that reads Off track, and a deadline that has been and gone reads Past deadline. A goal at 100% shows Hit instead of a badge.

Press Update on the card. The window offers a slider for a rough drag and a box underneath for the exact figure, and the step the slider moves in follows the size of the target.

Save writes it. Cross the target and a toast congratulates you, and the card swaps its badge for Hit.

A milestones goal has no Update. Tick the lines on the card itself, and the last tick triggers the same congratulation.

The three buttons beside the title are Cards, List and Board. Cards is the full picture, List is one line per goal with a small bar, and Board stacks them into a column per category.

One goal is special. A goal whose title carries FYC is the same number as your yearly FYC target, and the two surfaces always agree.

Edit the target on either one and the other follows. Deleting the goal leaves the profile value where it was.

Why does the ANP template suggest a target I didn’t type?

It’s read from your own closed cases. The app takes the annualised premium you logged over the last 90 days, scales it to the length of the goal, stretches it by 10% and rounds to the nearest 5,000. Below 10,000 it leaves the template’s number alone, and it never guesses an FYC target that way, because it doesn’t know your commission rate.

Do my goals follow me to another device?

Yes. They’re kept per user and mirrored across your devices.

Can I go past 100%?

Yes. Type the real figure into the update box. The bar stops at full and the percentage keeps counting.

What happens to a goal after its deadline?

Nothing is deleted. The badge reads Past deadline and the pace line says the same, until you move the deadline or finish it.
