Set your weekly, FYC and case size targets
Three numbers decide what your progress bars and your pace projection are measured
against. Two of them you type; the third comes out of the cases you’ve closed. All
three sit in My Profile, under Goals & Targets.
To open them:
- Press your avatar in the top right.
- Scroll to
Goals & Targets.
Your weekly points target
Section titled “Your weekly points target”Weekly Points Target is the number your week is measured against. It starts at
50 points a week.
To change it:
- Press
EditbesideWeekly Points Target. - Type the number.
- Press
Save.
While the editor is open the Edit button reads Cancel. The figure under the
heading becomes your new one, and the Weekly Points bar higher up the sheet
measures against it. Your actual pace under the target gives what you really
averaged over the last 30, 60 and 90 days, each as a percentage of what you asked
for.
Your yearly FYC target
Section titled “Your yearly FYC target”Yearly FYC Target is what your FYC run rate is measured against. It starts empty
and reads Not set.
To set it:
- Press
SetbesideYearly FYC Target. The button readsEditonce a figure is in. - Type the yearly figure, such as 120000.
- Press
Save.
Your FYC run rate under the target annualises what you’ve closed over the last
30, 60 and 90 days and prints each one against the target.
Your average case size
Section titled “Your average case size”Actual Avg Case FYC is the only one of the three you don’t set. It comes out of
the cases you’ve closed.
The row of buttons under the heading picks the window it counts: 30D, 60D,
90D, 6M, 1Y or All. The badge beside it reads Driving projection when
that figure is the one your income projection runs on, and Not driving projection
when something else is.
For the arithmetic behind the figure, open the info mark beside that badge. Where this number comes from gives the sum, the cases it counted and the cases it
skipped.
Left alone, your projection only switches to this figure once the window holds 3 priced cases. Below that it keeps using your pledge sheet, or the figure you typed.
To type your own figure over it:
- Press the pencil beside the amount.
- Type the figure.
- Press the tick.
A typed figure then drives the projection for good, however many cases you close.
Use actual appears once 3 priced cases are in, and that button is how you hand
the projection back to your closed cases.
A case logged without an FYC counts at your priced average for now, so an amber
row tells you how many are missing one and offers Add FYC to fill them in.
Do I have to set a yearly FYC target?
No. Everything else works without one. Your FYC run rate just has nothing to
measure itself against until you set it.
Can I type my own average case size?
Yes. Press the pencil and type it. It drives the projection from then on, and
Use actual is what gives your closed cases the job back.
Can I edit a weekly target that comes from a pledge sheet?
No. The Edit button isn’t drawn while a pledge sheet is selected.
Where does the FYC on a case come from?
The closed deal form. See Log a closed case.
