Dress your pet: looks, the Fitting Room and themes

Your pet’s page has 3 tabs for what it wears and where it lives. Looks holds ready-made outfits and the ones you’ve saved. Fitting Room builds a look piece by piece. Themes swaps the pet itself and re-skins the app.

Wear a ready-made look

Looks lists every outfit set, with what you’re wearing first, then what you own. Locked sets follow, cheapest first.

The chips above the grid filter it to All or Unlocked. A New chip joins them while a recent look is still new.

Each card’s button tells you where you stand:

• Equip puts on a set you own.
• Claim free means every missing piece costs nothing.
• Unlock, with a price, buys the pieces you’re missing.
• Need and a figure says how many more coins it takes.

Press a card’s picture for a full-size preview. It lists the pieces you’d still have to buy, and one button buys them and puts the set on.

A seasonal look carries a red Limited ribbon and the date it leaves. Claim it before then and it stays yours.

Mix your own in the Fitting Room

Fitting Room dresses one slot at a time: Body, Head, Face, Neck, Paws, Friend, Effect and Scene. On a phone, swipe or use the arrows to move between them.

To build a look:

1. Open Fitting Room.
2. Tap a piece in each slot you want, or None to leave it bare.
3. Wait for the preview to finish tailoring.
4. Press Save as a new look, or Just wear it (don't save).

A new combination takes about 30 seconds to draw. The preview stays pinned while you scroll, so you see each change on the pet.

Caution

A piece with a coin price on it isn’t yours yet. Tapping it buys it straight away and tries it on. A bought piece can be sold back for 24 hours from Barkbucks.

One piece can’t be bought at all. The flame is marked 4-week streak, and you earn it by logging 4 weeks in a row.

Save it to My Looks

Save as a new look opens Name this look with a name already suggested. The dice beside the box offers another. A name stops at 32 characters. Press Save & wear to keep it.

My Looks at the top of Looks holds what you’ve saved, with a count beside the heading. Each card reads Wear, or Wearing when it’s on.

If you’ve sold back a piece a saved look needs, its button offers to rebuy the missing pieces and wear it, with the price. Open the 3 dots on a card to Rename or Delete it.

Note that My Looks holds 12 looks. The Fitting Room button then reads My Looks is full (12), and you free a slot by deleting one.

Combine 2 or 3 looks

Combining merges looks you already have into a new one, without re-picking every slot. Sets and saved looks both count.

To combine looks:

1. Press Combine on the Looks tab.
2. Tap 2 or 3 looks, in order of which should win.
3. Check the pieces listed after Makes: in the bar at the bottom.
4. Press Combine, name it, then save it.

The first look you tap wins any slot the looks disagree on. For that rule in the app, open the info mark beside Combine in the bottom bar.

A combined look can still be saved with pieces you don’t own. It waits in My Looks with its rebuy button until you can afford them.

Borrow a teammate’s look

District looks shows outfits your teammates combined, newest first, up to 24. Pieces you lack are priced on the button, and Save & wear copies the look into your own wardrobe.

Note that a look you save through Combine goes on this shelf for your district to see. A Fitting Room save stays private. To take one of yours off the shelf, press the bin on its card, and your own wardrobe keeps it.

Change the pet and the theme

Themes has 4 sections.

Your Pet swaps who you’re dressing. Biscuit is free, and Mochi, Splash and Ollie cost 2,500 coins each. Outfits and moods carry over between pets.

App Themes changes the backdrop and colours across the app. The paid themes cost 800 to 1,500 coins. A seasonal theme carries Limited edition and is free while it runs.

Icon Packs redraws the tiles on the Log grid, for 600 or 800 coins. Classic is the free one. Press Apply on anything you own.

Garden Trees counts the tree species you have so far. Press a tree to see every species and the lifetime points each one needs.

FAQ

Why can’t I save the look in the Fitting Room?

The preview hasn’t finished, or My Looks is full at 12. Wait for the picture, or delete a saved look first.

Does changing to Mochi lose Biscuit’s outfits?

No. Outfits and moods carry over between pets.

Why did my coins drop in the Fitting Room?

You tapped a piece you didn’t own, which buys it. Sell it back from Barkbucks within 24 hours for a full refund.

Can my teammates see what I’m wearing?

Yes. Your pet shows on your profile and the leaderboard’s member card, in the look you have on.
