Edit or delete something you logged
Logged the wrong thing? A closed case has a full editor. Everything else you log has a bin icon and nothing more, so you delete it and log it again.
Delete an activity
Section titled “Delete an activity”My Recent Activities holds your last 8 entries, with a bin icon on each row.
On a laptop the icon appears when you point at the row. On a phone it’s always
there.
To delete one:
- Open
Activity feedand findMy Recent Activitiesbeside the feed. - Press the bin icon on the row you want gone.
- Read what
Delete this activity?says the delete will cost, then pressDelete.
The row disappears and a toast confirms the points were reversed.
Note that the card isn’t on the Log page. On a wide screen it sits beside the
activity feed, and on a phone it moves to My stats, under My numbers in the
left rail, because the feed needs the width.
Fix a closed case
Section titled “Fix a closed case”A closed case is the one thing you can edit after the fact. The pencil opens
Edit closed deal, where the policy, the money and the learnings all sit.
To change one:
- Open
Closed cases, underCRMin the left rail. - Press the pencil beside the case you want to fix.
- Change
Policy,Annualised premium,Year-1 FYC,Who closed this?orNotes & learnings. - Press
Save changes.
Year-1 FYC works itself out from the policy and the premium. Type over it and
your number wins, with Reset to auto beside the label to hand the sum back.
Changing the policy, the premium, the FYC or the notes never moves your points. Points belong to the activity type, so the score stays where it was. Changing who closed it does move them, and so does deleting.
Delete deal sits in the same dialog, and it takes the points and credits back
the way the bin does.
The same editor sits behind the pencil on your own card in the activity feed. A teammate’s closed cases are read-only either way.
Two things to watch:
- A case you logged with several policies collapses to one. The dialog says so, and saving replaces all of them with the single policy, premium and FYC in it.
- Switching
Who closed this?fromJust meto a partner splits the case 50/50. Half the points and half the FYC move to them, and the case counts once for the pair.
Everything else
Section titled “Everything else”A set, an opening, a referral, a client servicing call: none of them have an
editor. Delete the entry and log it again with the right number. If it was the
last thing you logged, Undo on the Log page is quicker. See
Log an activity and earn points.
Can I edit a set or an opening I logged by mistake?
No. Delete it from My Recent Activities and log it again. Only closed cases
have an editor.
I logged the same case twice. Does it count twice?
Yes, until you delete one of them. Both rows carry their own points and FYC.
I logged a case on my own and it was a joint one. Do I have to redo it?
No. Open it in Closed cases, press the pencil, and pick your partner under
Who closed this?. The kudos, comments and photos on the case stay where they
are. See Log a closed case.
