Change your password

You change a password you know from your profile. A password you’ve forgotten is reset from the sign-in screen instead, by email.

Every password needs at least 6 characters, whichever of these screens you use.

Change it while you’re signed in

To change your password:

1. Press your avatar in the top right, then My preferences at the foot of the sheet.
2. Open Privacy & security.
3. Type your Current password in the Password card.
4. Type the new one in New password and again in Confirm new password.
5. Press Update password.

The app checks your current password before it changes anything. A wrong one stops it with Current password is incorrect., and 2 new ones that differ stop it with Passwords do not match.

When it works, the message reads Password updated successfully. You stay signed in.

Reset a password you’ve forgotten

To get a reset link:

1. On the sign-in screen, press Forgot your password?.
2. Type your email.
3. Press Send Reset Email.
4. Open the email and follow its link.
5. Type a New password, then the same in Confirm password.
6. Press Update password.

Press the eye in the first box and both passwords show as you type them. Once the new one is saved, you land back on the sign-in screen to use it.

Note that a reset link works once, for a limited time. Follow an old one and the page reads This link has expired, with Back to sign in under it, so ask for a fresh link from there.

Set one the first time

If an admin made your account with a password, the first sign-in takes you to Set Your Password before anything else. Open the info mark beside Create a New Password: your account was set up with a temporary password.

Type a New Password, repeat it in Confirm Password, then press Set Password & Continue. You go straight into the app.

The same happens after an admin resets your password for you. Your next sign-in asks for a new one.

Note

An admin who made your account without a password sent you an invite email instead, and its link is where you pick your own.

FAQ

Can my manager see or set my password?

Nobody can see it. An Owner of your agency can set a new one for you, and you’re asked to change it the next time you sign in.

I searched for Change password and got Set Your Password. Is that right?

Yes. The search opens that page, and it sets a new password for the account you’re signed in with.

I don’t get the reset email. What now?

Check the address you typed is the one you sign in with, and look in spam. Your agency Owner can also set a new password for you from the admin dashboard.
