Check what happened on your sheet
Activity is the sixth tab of Inbox. It’s the log for the business in the picker:
alerts, messages queued and sent, reply rules that answered or held back, and
anything that went wrong. It’s the place to look when a lead says they
heard nothing.
Read the log
Section titled “Read the log”To see what happened:
- Open
Inbox, thenActivity. - Pick the business in the picker at the top of the page.
- Read down from the top, where the newest line is.
The heading reads What has happened on this sheet. Open the info mark beside it
and it says the sheet is read once a minute.
Each line has a tag, a sentence and the date and time. If the last check failed, the reason sits in red above the log.
What the tags mean
Section titled “What the tags mean”texting is a message on its way or sent: a first message queued or delivered, a
welcome to somebody writing in, a reply typed in the inbox, or an AI agent’s reply.
alert is your new-lead alert going out, and its sentence is the alert’s first line.
skipped is something the app chose not to do, with the reason. A lead who was
already announced, queued messages dropped while texting is off, and the daily cap
being reached all read this way.
problem is something that failed, such as a lead the app couldn’t message after
several tries. An AI agent handing a conversation over to you is logged as a
problem too, with its reason.
rule is a reply rule that answered or closed a conversation. rule-blocked is a
lead who wrote back with no rule to answer them, or a rule that matched and sent
nothing.
A few tags are shown in the app’s own words:
outreach-testis a message sent whileMessages go tois set toMe, for now, so the lead got nothing.armedis the sheet starting to be watched, from the row after the last one already there.idleis the sheet getting shorter, when rows were deleted.chasedis a reminder sent to an advisor about a lead still waiting.
Check the sheet now
Section titled “Check the sheet now”To read the sheet without waiting for the next minute:
- Press
Check now. - Read the message that follows.
It reads like Sent 2 messages. or No new rows., or it names the business
followed by what went wrong. Check now runs even while Watching this sheet is
off, and it also sends anything in the queue that’s due.
A check reads up to 20 new rows at a time, and anything past that is read on the next one. When a sheet is first watched, the rows already in it aren’t texted.
A lead says they never got their first message. Where do I look?
Find their name in the log. texting means it went, skipped says why it didn’t,
and problem says what failed. A message that fails 5 times is dropped, and you’re
sent a WhatsApp saying that lead was never messaged.
Can I see a colleague’s activity?
Only as a district admin, by picking their business in the picker.
Why does a problem line mention my agent?
Your AI agent handed that conversation to you, and the line gives its reason. See Take over from an AI agent, or hand a thread back.
Does Check now text leads twice?
No. A row that was already handled is recognised and nothing is sent again.
