Take a course and get your certificate
Courses holds the training your district and your agency publish for you:
videos, readings, quizzes and assignments, in order. Finish every lesson and
you get a certificate to print.
To open it:
- In the rail, open
Workspace. - Under
Learning, pressCourses.
The card at the top picks up where you left off, under Continue learning, or
offers the next course under Start here. With more than one course, each is
listed under it, with how far you’ve got.
Work through a course
Section titled “Work through a course”To take one:
- Press
StartorContinueon the card, or press a course. - Read or watch the lesson.
- Press
Mark done and continueto go to the next one.
An uploaded, YouTube or Vimeo video you play to the end marks itself done. For
any other video, press Mark done and continue. Pressed it by mistake? Mark not done undoes it on a video or a reading.
On a phone the course opens on its list of lessons, and the big button under the title starts the next one. On a computer it opens on the lesson where you left off.
A lesson may stay shut for a while. Finish the lesson before this one means
the course is meant to be taken in order. Opens and a date means its module
opens a set number of days after you started the course.
Pass a quiz
Section titled “Pass a quiz”Answer every question, then press Submit answers. You need 80% to pass
unless whoever built the course set another mark, and you can try as many
times as you like.
A pass reads Passed with your score and marks the lesson done. Below the mark
you see Not yet, and Try again clears the answers for another go. The right
answers and why they’re right show once you’ve passed.
Whoever builds your courses can also play a quiz with the whole room. Press
Live quiz at the top of Courses and type their code to
join a live quiz.
Hand in an assignment
Section titled “Hand in an assignment”Write under Your answer, add a link, or press Attach a file, then press
Hand in. A file can be up to 50 MB; share a link to anything bigger.
Most assignments go to whoever built the course, and read Waiting for review
until they answer. Your bell tells you when they approve it or ask for
changes. With Changes asked for, read the feedback, fix your answer in the form
under it and press Hand in again. While it’s still Waiting for review,
Edit what I handed in lets you change it. Some assignments mark themselves done as soon as you hand
them in.
Get your certificate
Section titled “Get your certificate”When the last lesson is done, the course shows Course complete and
View certificate. The certificate carries your name, the course, how many
lessons it had and the day you finished. Press Print or save as PDF to keep a
copy.

No. Courses don’t add to your activity points or coins.
Can I share my certificate?
