Control who sees your activity in the feed

The activity feed has two views, Community and Following. They show different things to different people, and neither has a switch that hides you. What you control is what you post, and who follows you from outside your district.

Open Activity feed, under Social in the left rail. The two chips sit under the heading.

Community is your district’s feed. Everyone in every agency of your district reads it.

Only some of what you log becomes a card there:

  • closed cases, with the policy, the figures, your notes and any photos
  • recorded sessions from Record a session, such as a calling session or deep work
  • notes you publish to the feed
  • weekly reflections you share

A set, an opening, a closing or a referral never gets a card of its own in Community. A tag-team case shows once, under both names, at the case’s full value.

An entry belongs to the district you logged it in. If you’re a member of two districts, what you log in one never reaches the other’s feed.

Following lists the activity of people someone follows, and that includes every kind of entry. Your followers see each entry’s name, its points and when it was logged. Closed cases stay as separate rows, and everything else folds into one row per person per day.

A closed case’s policy name only shows to followers in your district. Someone following you from another district sees the case without it.

Everyone in your district follows you automatically. Those automatic follows only count while the follower is in that district.

You decide what reaches Community at the moment you post, and each kind of post has its own control.

When a focus session ends, turn off Share to team feed before you save. The switch then reads Log privately (only you). See Run a focus session.

A note only reaches the feed when you publish it, and Unpublish takes it down again. See Share a note by link or publish it to the feed. Weekly reflections have their own sharing, covered in Write your weekly reflection and use the Journal.

For anything already logged, delete it. It leaves both views at once. See Edit or delete something you logged.

To make new followers ask first:

  1. Press your avatar in the top right, then My preferences at the foot of the sheet.
  2. Open Privacy & security.
  3. Turn on Approve followers, in the Privacy card.

New follow requests then wait for you. Turning it on doesn’t remove anyone already following you, and it doesn’t touch the automatic follows inside your district. Accepting requests and removing followers from outside your district happen on Find your people. See Follow people and invite friends.

Can I hide a closed case from the feed?

No. There’s no switch for it. Deleting the case is the only way it leaves, and that takes its points back too.

Why don’t my sets show in Community?

That view only carries closed cases, recorded sessions, published notes and shared reflections. Your sets still count on the leaderboard and in your stats.

Can my district see things that aren’t in the feed?

Yes. Your district can read everything you log. For the full picture, see Who can see your notes, journal and activity.
