Follow people and invite friends

Following puts someone’s activity in your Following feed and lets you send them gifts. You already follow everyone in your district, because the app does that for you.

So following is mostly for people outside your district. Your invite link is for people who aren’t on ActivityTracker yet.

Find someone to follow

Find your people is at /welcome/friends. It’s also the Find friends button on an empty Following feed, and a follow notification opens it too.

To follow somebody:

1. Open Find your people.
2. Type at least 2 letters of their name under Search teammates.
3. Press Follow beside them.

The search covers everyone on the app, not only your district, and shows up to 8 names. Press a name to open that person’s profile.

Suggested for you above it offers up to 8 people from your district you don’t follow yet. To read where suggestions come from, open the info mark beside Suggested for you.

What happens when you press Follow

Most people are followed straight away, and the button reads Following. They get a notification saying you started following them.

Someone who approves their followers gets a request instead, and your button reads Requested. Press it again to cancel the request. Press Following to unfollow.

Note that someone outside your district shows a profile without their numbers. The page reads Stats aren't shared outside their district.

Choose who can follow you

Approve followers is a switch in My preferences, under Privacy & security. For what it does, open the info mark beside it. It starts off, so anyone can follow you instantly.

With it on, requests wait under Follow requests on Find your people. Press Accept to let one through, or the cross to turn it down.

Your followers lists everyone following you. People from outside your district have a Remove button. District teammates carry a District badge instead, with no remove button, because they see your activity through the district anyway.

Invite a friend and earn coins

Your invite link is on Invite friends, earn coins, at /invite.

When someone joins through your link, you get 200 coins and they get 100. The coins land once their account is active, which means approved and in an agency. A sign-up that never gets that far pays nothing.

To share your link:

1. Open /invite.
2. Press the copy button beside the link under Invite to ActivityTracker.
3. Paste it wherever you like, or press Telegram or WhatsApp to share it.

friends joined counts the people who used your link. coins earned multiplies that count by 200, whether or not their accounts are active yet.

Note that you’re paid for up to 30 invites a month. Past that, a friend who joins still counts, but your 200 coins don’t come.

Invite someone to your team

Managers see a second link, Invite straight to your team.

Whichever link a person uses, the page they land on offers Start my own agency, or Ask to join followed by your agency’s name. Asking puts them in your join queue, and they get access once a manager approves them.

Note

No invite link adds anybody to your agency by itself. A manager approving the request is what gives them a seat. See Approve join requests and invite your team.

FAQ

Do I need to follow my teammates?

No. Everyone in your district is followed for you.

Can I follow someone in another organisation?

Yes. Search finds everyone on the app, and a follow you make yourself works across organisations.

Why can’t I remove a follower?

They’re in your district. District teammates see your activity through the district, so there’s nothing to remove.

My friend signed up but I got no coins.

Their account isn’t active yet. The coins land when they’re approved into an agency, as long as you’re under 30 paid invites that month.
