Review assignments and follow team progress
Once a course is published, two jobs come back to whoever builds it: reading
the assignments advisors hand in, and seeing who is falling behind. Both live
on Courses.
Only the people who build courses see these: district admins for the district, and agency managers and agency admins for their own agency. To make a course first, see Build and publish a course.
Review a hand-in
Section titled “Review a hand-in”To review, at the top of Courses, lists every hand-in waiting on you,
oldest first. The number beside it is how many are waiting.
To review one:
- In the rail, open
Workspace, then pressCoursesunderLearning. - Press
To review. - Read
Their answer. PressWhat was askedto see the assignment again. - Press
Approve, or write a note in the box and pressAsk for changes.
Approve marks that lesson done for them. Ask for changes sends your note
back, and the lesson waits until they hand it in again. Either way, their bell
tells them.
Note that Ask for changes stays off until you’ve written a note, because the
note is what tells them what to fix.
Only assignments with Needs review switched on come here. The rest mark
themselves done when they’re handed in.
See who has finished
Section titled “See who has finished”To open a course’s progress:
- On
Courses, open the course, then pressEdit. - Press
Team progress.
The line at the top counts who has finished and who has started, with the due date and how many are overdue when the course has one. Each person below shows how many lessons they’ve done and when they last finished one.
Press a name to see each lesson for that person:
- a tick for each lesson done
bestand their top score, on a quizwaiting for revieworchanges asked, on an assignment
Everybody the course is for is listed, whether they’ve opened it or not. That’s everyone in the district for a district course, or the agency’s members for an agency course.
Remind somebody
Section titled “Remind somebody”Open their row and press Send a reminder. It goes to their bell, with the
course’s name.
Note that you can remind each person once a day, and only on a published
course. The button reads Reminded today after that.
Somebody who has finished gets Certificate instead, which opens the
certificate with their name on it.
Download the progress
Section titled “Download the progress”Press CSV for team-progress.csv. It has a row for each person and a column
for each lesson, with done, the quiz score, or where an assignment stands.
Can I see what somebody wrote in an assignment I already approved?
Not from To review. Once you’ve decided, the hand-in leaves the list.
Why isn’t a new advisor on the list?
They have to be in the course’s audience. A course for one agency lists only that agency’s members, so check they’ve joined it. See Approve join requests.
Can I send a reminder to everybody at once?
No. Send a reminder goes to one person at a time.
