Insurance agent onboarding
Know what each new adviser has done in their first week.
New advisers ask to join from your link. You approve them, and they start with a checklist, a course and their own week on the board.
30 minutes. You choose the day and the time.

Week one
You can't help a new adviser you can't see
A new adviser joins. You add them to the group chat, send three PDFs and tell them to shout if they need anything. They don't shout. In week three they've stopped prospecting, and you notice in week seven.
01The invite
Send one link, not a dozen set-ups.
Four new advisers start this month, and you don't want to set each one up by hand. Make an invite link for your agency, with a seat limit or an end date if you'd like one, and send it to them. Turn it off when you're done.
- Leave the limits blank, and the link has none
- Turn a link off at any time
- Any member also has their own link to invite someone
- Invite linkSeat limit 4, ends on the 30thLeave them blank for no limits

02The approval
Approve each new adviser from one queue.
You want to know who's coming in before they see the agency's numbers. Each person who opens the link asks to join, and they wait until you say yes. You'll see them in one queue. Approve them, and they're a member of your agency.
- Approving takes up a seat
- A manager of that agency approves it
- An adviser moving from another agency sends a transfer request

03First days
Give them a checklist for their first days.
On day one they don't know what to tap, and you've got a team to run. A new account gets a short checklist, so you don't have to walk them through it: take the tour, log something, set their own FYC target, put it on their home screen, and add a photo and a quote.
- It's on their screen from the first sign-in
- Every new account gets the same five steps
- They tick it off as they go
- Take the tourDone on her first sign-in1 of 5
04The course
Hand out week two's lessons in week two.
You don't want to send three PDFs on day one again. Build an onboarding course for your agency, or start from the New advisor onboarding template, and open each module a set number of days after they start. They only get what they're ready for.
- Lessons can be video, reading, a quiz or text practice
- A finish-by date shows who's overdue, and locks nothing
- See each person's progress and quiz scores
- Module 1, Day 1Video lessonOpen
- Module 2, Day 8Reading and a quizOpen: she's on day 9
- Module 3, Day 15Text practiceOpens on day 15
05Week three
See who's gone quiet, at 3 days and at 7.
The new one who goes quiet is the one you want to catch early. No entry for 3 days puts them on your manager dashboard, and 7 days flags them again. Nudge them from the list, and it rings their bell.
- Flagged at 3 days, and again at 7
- Someone on leave drops to the bottom of Needs you today
- A nudge rings their bell in the app

And the rest

Goes well with
Know where each new adviser is up to.
Bring your next new adviser, and we'll send the first link together.

Before the next one starts
Worried new advisers won't log?
It's one tap per call or appointment, on their phone. If they don't, you'll see that too: no entry for 3 days puts them on your list.
Not today. A course goes to your whole agency or the whole district. Since modules open by each person's own start date, a new adviser moves through it at their own pace.
No. The link sets the agency, and everyone joins as a member. An admin can change it afterwards.
There's no mentor feature. You can see their numbers and their coaching sheet, and add your own notes.
No. It covers joining, first courses and their weekly activity.
There's no public price for Palby Sales Tracker yet, so you'll get a price for your team on the walkthrough.
