Best sales gamification software

Best sales gamification software: five tools, and what each needs before your team sees a point

Four of these read your CRM or other systems. One takes a tap from each rep. Here's what each needs first, which games it runs and what it costs, read from its own pages.

We make Palby Sales Tracker, so that one's ours. The other four suit some teams better, and each section says which.

Quick picks

  • Palby Sales Tracker (ours): best if your reps log their own calls and meetings, with no CRM behind them.
  • Spinify: best if your CRM already holds the numbers and you want competitions on office TVs.
  • SalesScreen: best if you have 10 reps or more and want a choice of competition formats, badges and a rewards shop.
  • Plecto: best if you want contests on top of KPI dashboards.
  • Hoopla: best if your CRM holds the numbers and you want races on an office TV.

How we picked

  • What has to be in place before anyone sees a point: a CRM connection, a data source or a person logging.
  • The games each tool's own pages name, such as contests, streaks or reward stores.
  • What it costs, from its own pricing page, read on 2 November 2026.
  • How a small or mid-sized team would buy it and set it up, from its own pages.

We left out Ambition, LevelEleven and Centrical because their own pages speak to enterprises. If that's you, read them too.

The five, one by one

Palby Sales Tracker (ours)

We make Palby Sales Tracker, so that one's ours.

Your reps earn points by logging. One tap logs a call, meeting or close, and you set what each tile is worth, from 0.5 to 100 points, and the leaderboard ranks everyone on those points. One activity keeps a week streak alive, shields cover a missed week, and leave doesn't break it. A manager sets up contests on activities, one tile, closed deals or points, for the top 1 to 10 or everyone past a target, with a prize line.

  • Best for: a team of 5 to 30 that reports the week in a group chat or a sheet, with no CRM anyone keeps clean.
  • Pick something else if: your numbers already live in a CRM or dialler, because nothing feeds points from either one. Contest results don't post by themselves, since a manager taps to post the standings. If you want a rewards shop or TVs in the office, the other four name them.
  • Price: there's no public price yet, so book a walkthrough and ask.

Spinify

Spinify reads your CRM or spreadsheets. A competition can be single person, single goal, head to head or multiplayer. The Business plan lists TV displays and reward stores.

  • Best for: sales teams of 5 or more whose CRM already holds the numbers.
  • Pick something else if: nobody keeps your CRM clean, because the points read what's in it.
  • Price: Business shows US$25 a user a month, billed annually, with a 5-user minimum. You can book a demo or start a trial with no card.

SalesScreen

SalesScreen reads your CRM and other sales tools. Its pricing page sets Essentials for small teams, Scale for 10 reps or more and Pro for 15 or more. Its gamification page names competition formats, badges, streaks and a rewards shop.

  • Best for: teams of 10 or more who want a choice of games.
  • Pick something else if: you have fewer than 10 reps and want more than Essentials, since Scale starts at 10.
  • Price: Scale US$30 and Pro US$45 a user a month, as its pricing page shows them. Essentials starts with a 30-day trial and no card, then runs monthly.

Plecto

Plecto prices its KPI dashboards by tracked license. You connect a data source, build a KPI and add it to a leaderboard or a contest. It lists 150+ systems, and its pages say people who aren't tracked can view for no charge.

  • Best for: a team that wants dashboards first, with contests on the numbers it already reports.
  • Pick something else if: you have fewer than 10 people to track, since the minimum is 10 licenses, or you want contests on the lower plan, because they're listed under Large.
  • Price: Medium is US$24 and Large US$37.20 per tracked license a month, billed annually, with a 14-day trial.

Hoopla

Hoopla reads your CRM, with Salesforce and HubSpot named, or Google Sheets, Excel and APIs. Office TVs run on its own hardware. Remote people use a secure link or its iOS and Android app.

  • Best for: a team whose CRM holds the numbers, and who wants them on an office TV.
  • Pick something else if: you want to see a price before you book a demo.
  • Price: not printed. Its pricing link opens the demo page, where you can ask about a 30-day trial.
