How the sum works
These numbers are made up. Put the same ones in and you'll get the same answer.
S$45,000 closed on a S$120,000 quota is 37.5%.
With 6 of 13 weeks gone, 46.2% of the time has gone, so that's about S$10,385 behind an even pace.
Finishing at 100% takes S$10,714 a week for the last 7 weeks, against a plan of S$9,231.
At this pace you'd finish on S$97,500, which is 81.3% of quota.
Split a team target
The second tab shares a target across full reps and new reps on a part quota.
- A S$1,000,000 target across 4 full reps and 2 new reps at 50% is S$200,000 per full rep
- Each new rep carries S$100,000
- The six quotas add up to the target
When to run it
Run it while the period can still change.
- 01When a rep asks if they're on pace
- 02When a new rep joins part way through
- 03When you set next period's target
- 04When a deal slips out of the period
What Palby Sales Tracker adds
Palby Sales Tracker, which we make, counts activity, not revenue, so it shows the pace behind the quota.
- A leaderboard with target %, pledge and average a day beside each name
- Who's on pace and who has gone quiet, on the manager's Analytics tab
- Weekly rankings posted to the team's Telegram group
Questions
What you've closed divided by your quota, times 100. S$45,000 on S$120,000 is 37.5%.
Your share of the quota matches the share of time gone, so with half the weeks gone, on pace is half the quota.
Compare your own team over time. Published averages mix trades and team sizes, so they say little about yours.
Divide the target by your full reps, with each new rep as a part of one, so 4 full reps and 2 new reps at 50% make 5 full quotas.
It's your call, and the share is yours to type. Set it from how long your own new reps take to reach full pace.
This one tracks the quota, and the OTE calculator shows what you're paid at each level of it.
