The group chat
You posted it. Who actually saw it?
You post the new rule in the group chat. A day later it's 40 messages up. Someone does it the old way, and says nobody told them.
01Posting
Choose who gets it: everyone, or one group.
Some news is for everyone, and some is only for North. An admin posts to the whole team or any group. A manager posts to their own group. If a post fails, it says "Not posted. Your text is still here."
- Admins post to everyone, or to any group
- Managers post to their own group
- You can edit or delete a post later
- YouFriday's training moves to 3pmGoes to: North group
02Who read it
Read by 14 of 18, and the four names still to go.
You don't want to ask the room. Opening a post marks it read, and you see "Read by 14 of 18" with the names still to go. For the ones that matter, ask everyone to confirm, and they tap "I have read this".
- You get the names of who hasn't read it
- For the ones that matter, ask for a tap to confirm
- Pin one notice, and it stays on top

03Their phone
Send it to their phone the moment you post.
They shouldn't have to open the app to find out there's news. A new post rings the bell and sends each person a push. On Monday at 8am, they also get the week's new memos and any deadlines coming up.
- A push goes out when you post
- Monday's round-up lists new memos and deadlines
- No new memos means no round-up
- You, 10:02amPosted: Friday's training moves to 3pm
- Priya Nair, 10:02amBell rings, push on her phone

04Memos
Answer the same question once, in Memos.
You've answered where the form is twice this month. Put it in Memos with your files and links, and it's there the next time someone asks. Each answer names the memo it came from.
- Files, links and notes sit in one place
- It doesn't answer from the web
- Each answer names the memo it used

Before you move the notices
Already post everything in the group chat?
Keep the chat for chat. Move the notices you'd want proof of, because a group chat can't tell you who read them, and this can.
