Car dealer CRM

Call back the buyer who test-drove last week, before another showroom does.

Give every buyer a follow-up date after the test drive, share new enquiries out across your sales team, and keep the buyers when a salesperson leaves.

30 minutes. You choose the day and the time.

  • New enquiries shared out in turn
  • A follow-up date on every buyer
  • Each salesperson's buyers, on the showroom's pipeline

After the test drive

Buyers go quiet after the test drive while they visit two other showrooms.

The test drive goes well. The next day the buyer visits two more showrooms down the road. The salesperson who drove with him is busy with new walk-ins, and nobody has called. A week later he's put a deposit down somewhere else.

01The test drive

Give every buyer a follow-up date after the test drive.

Kumar hands back the keys and says he'll think about it. Before he leaves, give his card a follow-up date, and tomorrow and next week are one tap each. On the day he's on Next activity due, with the car he drove and his trade-in on the card, until someone calls and sets the next date.

  • Name the stages the way your showroom talks
  • Overdue ones say how late
  • No next step catches buyers with no date

02New enquiries

Share new enquiries out across the sales team, in turn.

Six enquiries came in, and nobody knows whose they are. Switch on Share out and each new card goes to the next salesperson, or to whoever has the fewest open. Whoever's on leave marks themselves Away and is passed over, and each person gets a push when a buyer is theirs.

  • Take turns, or fewest open
  • Away goes last, and Unavailable is skipped
  • Pushes held from 9pm to 9am

03A salesperson resigns

Keep the buyers when a salesperson leaves for another showroom.

Your top salesperson hands in his notice, and his buyers are in his phone. Here every buyer sits on the showroom's pipeline instead, with the notes, the test drive and the chat once your number is linked. Take away his access in one place, and the buyers, their history and their follow-up dates stay with you.

  • View, use or manage, per person
  • Downloading is a separate choice
  • Chats stay on the buyer's record

A worked example

One buyer, three weeks, at a used car showroom

Palby CRM
  1. MondayKelvin runs a used car showroom with four salespeople. Six new enquiries go out in turn, and each salesperson gets a push.
  2. TuesdayWei Jie takes Kumar for a test drive in a 2021 hatchback and sets a follow-up for Friday.
  3. FridayKumar is on Wei Jie's list. He wants S$3,000 more for his trade-in, so Wei Jie writes it in a note and sets Monday.
  4. Three weeks laterWei Jie leaves. Kelvin takes away his access, and Kumar's card is still there with every note, so Aisyah calls him that afternoon.

And the rest

What it does for a showroom, and what it won't

COE datesAdd a date field for when a buyer's COE ends, and switch the calendar to it.
RemindersA date field can email you on the day and 7 days before.
Plate numbersMake a field unique, so two cards can't share a plate number.
Two carsA buyer can have two deals, each with its own amount in S$.
Your listBring your buyers in from a spreadsheet, up to 2,000 rows.
Not hereNo stock list, listing-site sync or loan figures.

Goes well with

Call back test-drive customers before another showroom does.

Start with the buyers who test-drove in the last two weeks and haven't heard from you.

Before you move your buyers in

Will your salespeople actually use it?
