It takes a few minutes the first time. Your business details stay in this browser for next time.
- 01Put in your business name and address, and your GST registration number if you're registered.
- 02Add who it's for, the invoice number, the date and when it's due, then a line for each item with its quantity and price.
- 03Add how to pay you, like your PayNow UEN or bank account, then download the PDF.
What a Singapore tax invoice must show
When you charge GST, IRAS lists what has to be on the invoice. The generator adds each one.
The words "Tax Invoice" in a prominent place, your business name and address, and your GST registration number.
The date, an invoice number, and your customer's name and address.
What you supplied, the GST rate, the total before GST, the GST amount and the total with GST.
Not registered for GST? Don't charge it. Untick GST and the PDF is titled Invoice, with no GST line.
Getting paid on time
Four details that decide how fast an invoice gets paid.
A due date, not "payable on receipt". Pick 7, 14 or 30 days and it fills in the date.
How to pay, on the invoice itself. A PayNow UEN or a bank account with the account name.
One invoice number per invoice, in order. INV-001, then INV-002.
A line for each thing you did, so nobody has to email you to ask what the total is for.
Send it, then follow up
An invoice that isn't chased tends to wait.
- 01The day the job is done
- 02A day after it's due, with a short reminder
- 03A week after that, with a call
- 04When they pay, mark it on their record
Know who's paid and who to chase
Palby CRM doesn't make the invoice for you. It keeps the customer, what they've paid and the date you'll follow up.
- Add an Amount paid field, and the pipeline totals what came in by month against your goal
- Payment links on your own Stripe account mark the customer as paid
- A follow-up date on every customer, and today's list of everyone due or overdue
- Notes and WhatsApp chats on the record, beside the deal's amount
