Month end

Closing deals is hard. Knowing who paid shouldn't be

The job's done and the customer said they'd transfer. Did they? The answer is in your bank app, the chat and a spreadsheet you update when you remember, and the month's total comes at month end.

01What came in

See what came in this month, as it comes in.

Add an Amount paid field and a Date paid field to your pipeline. Fill them in as customers pay, and the strip above the board totals what came in, how many jobs and the average per job, in S$.

  • Received, Jobs and Avg per job
  • This month, this quarter or this year
  • Cash and bank transfers count when you type them in
Renovation jobs - October

02Your goal

Every month against your goal, at a glance.

Set a yearly goal on the strip. Each month's goal is a twelfth of it and each quarter's a quarter, so on the 20th you can see how far you have to go.

  • One yearly goal per pipeline
  • A month's goal is a twelfth of the year's
  • Goal hit shows when you pass it

04When they pay

See it on the card when they pay.

When the customer pays through the link, it's marked paid within about ten minutes. The amount goes into Amount paid, Date paid is set, the deal is marked won and you get a Paid notice.

  • Amount paid and Date paid filled in
  • Their open deal moved to won
  • A Paid notice for you

05Gaps

Every missing amount, flagged at a glance.

A finished job with no amount makes the total quietly short. The strip counts them: "2 finished jobs have no amount on the card yet." A paid card with no date paid is flagged too, because it can't count in any month.

  • Finished jobs with no amount
  • Paid cards with no date paid
  • Fix them from the card
