Month end

The number you only find out at month end

In November you add up the year from the bank app and a spreadsheet. You're S$90,000 short, with six weeks left and the December holidays coming.

01The goal

Set one goal for the year, and see each month's share.

You want to know you're on track while there's still time to fix it. Set a yearly goal on the pipeline, and each month's share is a twelfth of it. Only the pipeline's owner can change it, so the number doesn't drift.

  • One goal a year, per pipeline
  • A month's goal is a twelfth

02What's come in

Track what's actually come in, job by job.

You don't want to add it up from the bank app again. The total reads the Amount paid field on each card, by its Date paid, and shows Received, Jobs and Avg per job for this month, quarter or year. A finished job with no amount on it is flagged, so the total isn't quietly short.

  • Add Amount paid and Date paid fields once
  • Month, quarter or year

03What's open

See what's still open, and what it's worth.

If you're behind, the gap is in the deals still open. Above the board, a summary shows your open cards, what their deals are worth, your won rate, the average age of an open card and how many have gone stale. The stale ones are this week's follow-ups.

  • Open cards and their value
  • Won rate
  • Average age and stale cards

04Weekly email

Get the numbers in your inbox every Monday.

You shouldn't have to log in to know where you stand. Build a dashboard from a template, and it can go by email each Monday to you and to anyone on your team who can see the pipeline.
