WhatsApp webhooks
Webhooks that move each WhatsApp lead into the app you use.
Your form, Zapier or Make can start a WhatsApp chat, and a workflow can send each lead's details back out.
30 minutes. You choose the day and the time.

Both directions
Two directions, one web link each
Your site's enquiry form sends an email. It sits in an inbox until someone opens it, and by then the parent has called two other centres.
01In
Your form sends the lead. A workflow texts them.
Someone fills in the enquiry form on your site. Give a workflow its own web link, and the form, a Zap or a Lark automation sends their number to it, with a name if it has one. The contact is filed, and the workflow texts them from your number if you want it to.
- Reads phone, number, mobile or whatsapp as the number
- Takes a name if one is sent
- Nothing runs until the workflow is published
- WorkflowNew enquiryPublished, so it runs
- Your form, 4:12pmname: Joanne, mobile: 9123 4567Sent to the web link
02Out
Send their details to the app your team lives in.
Your team plans the day in Slack or Lark, not in the inbox. Add a Send to Another App step, and each lead's details go to Slack, Lark, Zapier, Make, a Google Apps Script or any https link.
- Slack, Lark, Zapier, Make or any https link
- You pick which details go
- Headers for apps that need a password
- Goes toYour team's Slack
- Details you pickedName, number, level, day
03When it fails
Know when a send didn't go through.
Apps go down sometimes. If the other app answers within 10 seconds, the lead goes down the Sent path. If it doesn't, they go down Did not go through, so you can see it and decide what happens next.
- Two paths, one for each outcome
- Every run on the workflow's Runs screen
- Test a step on a sample contact first
- TestSend to Slack, tried on a sample contactSent
04The answer
Keep what the app sends back for later.
Say Zapier sends back a booking reference. Keep the parts of the reply you need, and use them in the steps after, like the next message to the lead.
- Pick the parts of the reply to keep
- Use them in a later message or step
- Empty if the app sent nothing back
- Sent to ZapierJoanne, 9123 4567, Saturday 10am
05Who can call it
Your form can start a chat. A stranger's request can't.
A link anyone could call would let strangers text your leads. So each link has its own secret key, and you can replace it any time. A request with the wrong key, or with no phone number in it, does nothing.
- More than 120 calls an hour from one link are turned away
- Replace a link's key whenever you like
- Only public https addresses go out
- Your form, 4:12pmRight key, mobile: 9123 4567Let in
And the rest
And the small details that keep it working
Goes well with
Connect the form your leads fill in first.
Most businesses start with the enquiry form on their own site.
30 minutes. You choose the day and the time.
Before you connect a form
Do you need a developer for this?
Not for Zapier or Make. You paste the workflow's link into their web request step and send the phone number. A form you built yourself needs someone who can point it at that link.
A phone number, sent as phone, number, mobile or whatsapp, and a name if you have one. The key goes in the header or on the end of the link.
Nobody can promise it won't, and WhatsApp's help centre warns that linking through unofficial apps "may put your account at risk". So first messages to new leads go out about an hour apart, and a risk check slows them or pauses them when your number looks at risk.
No. These are web links between your workflows and your other apps. Your number still links by QR code.
It starts a workflow, and the workflow's Send to Another App step makes the call.
There's no public price for the AI agent yet, so you'll get a price for your team on the walkthrough.
