How the sum works
The formula sits under the result, filled in with your numbers.
Hours saved = enquiries a month x the share the agent answers x minutes per enquiry, divided by 60.
Time saved = hours saved x what an hour costs you.
Return a month = time saved + bookings won back x what a booking is worth, minus what the agent costs.
ROI = return a month divided by what the agent costs, shown as a percentage, with the same sum for 12 months beside it.
Getting the inputs right
These four inputs are where a sum like this usually goes wrong, so check them before you trust the result.
Count the minutes you spend typing. An enquiry with six messages spread over an hour might take ten minutes of your time.
Be honest about the share. Price, slots and directions are easy to hand over. A complaint or a big job still needs you.
Leave bookings won back at zero if you're not sure. The time saved alone shows whether it pays.
Use the cost of the person who answers. If that's you, use what an hour of your own time is worth to the business.

Work out the hours it saves, put a cost on them, add any bookings you'd win back, take away what the agent costs, and divide by that cost. The calculator does this with your numbers and shows each step.
Because any average we picked wouldn't be yours. A clinic and a cleaning firm get very different enquiries, so the sum starts empty and uses only what you type.
That depends on what you ask it to answer. Questions with a set answer, like price, opening hours and free slots, are the ones to count. Anything that needs judgement should go to a person.
Only if you know you lose some. If last month's enquiries booked with someone else before you replied, count those. If you're not sure, leave it at zero.
No. Meta charges per message on its Business API, and the pricing calculator works that out. An agent on your own linked number isn't billed by Meta per message.
