WhatsApp auto reply
Stop missing the leads who write after you've closed.
A fast reply doesn't mean checking your phone all the time. The agent answers from your price list, and anything it can't answer waits for you.
30 minutes. You choose the day and the time.
- Your own number
- Quiet from 11pm, unless you change it
- Agent to Sarah Lim: Saturday 9am or 2pm, which suits you?Answered
- Omar Hadi: Do you clean ovens too?Waiting, quiet hours
- Priya Nair: Can I speak to you directly?Needs you
Six moments
From the first question to the teammate who picks it up
01A new enquiry
They ask a question and get an answer, not an away message.
You've closed when someone asks your price. An away message would tell them you'll reply tomorrow. The agent answers the question itself, from your price list, your website and your past chats.
- Writes in the first person, as you or the business
- Reads the photos and PDFs they send
- Waits a few seconds, so it reads the whole message first
02Quiet hours
It answers until quiet hours start, then it waits.
Quiet hours run from 11pm to 9am unless you change them. Nothing goes out in those hours. Switch on the daily sweep, and it answers whoever's still waiting, between 10am and 6pm.
- Change the hours, or switch them off
- Keeps answering someone it's mid-chat with, if you switch that on
- Farid IsmailSounds good, let me think about itCheck-in at 10:30am
- Kavitha RajYou: Hi Kavitha, thanks for asking about weekly cleaningNever chased
- Mei Ling TanSaturday 9am pleaseMid-chat
03Ready to book
Let them book while they're keen.
When they want a slot, it offers the free times from your booking page and books the one they pick. The booking lands on your Google Calendar, and they can move it in the same chat.
- Only the times you've opened
- Asks for their email for the confirmation
- Moves or cancels in the chat

04Needs you
See the chats that need you, not all of them.
A complaint, a request for a person, a question your notes don't cover: the agent hands those over and stops. Needs you shows each one with what they asked and why it stopped.
- The alert on your WhatsApp, in a Lark group, or both
- What they asked and why, in one message
- A reminder a day later, in working hours, if nobody's picked it up

05A busy spell
A rush of enquiries gets answered in turn, not dropped.
Ten people write after your post goes up. The agent answers them one after another, about 30 seconds apart, so your number never fires off ten replies at once.
- One after another, never all at once
- Replies to people who just wrote aren't held by your sending hours
- 8:02pmPeople write in about the post10
06When you're back
The right teammate answers, and nobody replies twice.
Your teammate takes the chats you hand them, and the agent steps back from those. Type a reply yourself and it stops in that chat too.
- Assign from the chat, with a notice on their phone
- The agent steps back once a person replies
- One tap hands the chat back to the agent
There's still a stain on the sofa from last week. Can someone come back for it?
Sorry about that, let me get the right person for you.

What it does after hours, and what it won't
Goes well with
Don't leave the question to an away message.
Give the agent the answers you type every week, and let it take the first reply.

Questions about answering after hours
An away message sends the same words to everyone, like "we'll reply tomorrow". An auto reply answers set keywords the same way every time. An AI agent reads what they asked, answers it from your notes and can book the slot.
Yes. It writes in the first person, in the words it picked up from your chats. On a business line it writes as the business instead.
Not unless you want it to. Quiet hours run from 11pm to 9am by default, and you can change the hours.
It writes as you, in words it learned from your chats, and answers only what your notes cover. When someone asks for you, or asks whether it's a person, it hands the chat over and you pick it up when you're back.
Nobody can promise a number won't be restricted, and WhatsApp's help centre warns that linking through unofficial apps "may put your account at risk". The agent never chases someone who never wrote back, checks in only between 9am and 9pm, and leaves about 30 seconds between its messages.
No. It works with the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app you already use, linked by QR code, so there are no message templates to get approved.
Yes. Hand a chat to a teammate, or let a workflow hand new ones out in turn. Whoever has it sees the whole thread.
There's no public price for the AI agent yet, so you'll get a price for your team on the walkthrough.
