Where UChat is strong

UChat reaches further than we do. Its pages list 15+ channels, from WhatsApp and Instagram to Telegram, WeChat and Line, with a drag-and-drop flow builder and links to Shopify, HubSpot, Zapier, Stripe, Calendly and Google Sheets. There's a free plan for up to 200 contacts, a mobile app, and a Partner plan that lets agencies white-label it and resell it. If you want one bot everywhere your customers write, UChat is the better fit.

The three differences that matter

Keep your number, add the agent

Palby AI Agent links the WhatsApp you already use by QR code, the way WhatsApp Web does, through a third-party service called Green API. Your phone keeps working, and there's no new number. The trade-off: no Meta templates, no buttons or lists, and no blue checkmark. WhatsApp's help centre warns that linking through unofficial apps "may put your account at risk", so the agent sends slowly on purpose.

Set it up from your business, not a flow

Answer a few questions about what you do and when a person should step in, and the agent is set up from your answers. It answers from your price list, your files and website pages it reads again on a schedule. It writes as you or as one of your team. Try it in a test chat before it answers anyone.

A person takes the hot ones

When a chat needs you, it lands in the team inbox with an alert to a WhatsApp number or a Lark group. You assign chats by hand, in turn or to whoever has the fewest open. Each waiting chat shows how long it's waited, so nobody gets forgotten.

Switching in three steps

  1. Book a 30-minute walkthrough, and link your number by QR code on the call.
  2. Answer the setup questions, add your files and website, and try a test chat.
  3. Turn it on for WhatsApp. Keep UChat on your other channels if you still need them.
