What changes
AI CRM vs your notebook: what actually changes
Most CRMs call themselves AI now, and the label says little. Here it does four jobs you'd otherwise do by hand: reading back a customer's history, matching a spreadsheet's columns, typing in a business card and answering your questions in Claude.
01Before the call
Know what they said last, without scrolling the chat.
Mrs Lim wrote three weeks ago, and her chat is long. Press Generate on her record. A few lines come back with what she asked about and what's still open.
- Reads the customer's messages, notes and tasks
- Appears as it's written, so you're not left waiting
- Regenerate it any time
- GenerateReads his messages, notes and tasksPressed
02Up to date
It tells you when the summary is out of date.
The summary only uses what's on that customer's record. When a new message or note lands after it was written, the record tells you it's out of date, so you never read last month's story as today's.
- Built from one record, never from other customers
- Shows the day it was written
- Says when newer activity has come in
- SummaryWants the S$9,600 bathroom quote revisedWritten 31 Oct
- Built fromGrace Lee's record only, never other customers
03Your spreadsheet
Bring in a messy spreadsheet. AI matches the columns.
Your sheet says "HP No" and "Kid's level". Columns are matched by name first. Any it can't place go to AI, which sees the column's name and up to three sample values, never whole rows.
- Stage and dropdown values matched too
- Every AI guess marked "Matched by AI - check it"
- Change any match before you import
04Business cards
Photograph a business card. AI reads it for you.
Take a photo of the card and AI reads the name, phone, email, company and title. You check each one before the contact is saved, and the photo isn't kept unless you choose to attach it.
- Take a photo, or choose one you took
- Check every field before you add it
- Warns you if they're already in your pipeline
- PhotoA business card from the home showTaken just now
05Not AI
Where we don't use AI, and why.
The lead score isn't AI. It's fixed rules, like 25 for replying and minus 20 after a month of silence, and the record prints every line that adds up to the score. A number you can't argue with is a number you'd stop trusting.
- Each line of the score shows its reason
- The lines add up to the score out of 100
- Your follow-up dates and views are plain rules too
- Lead scoreFixed rules, not AINot AI

Goes well with
Spend the minute before a call on the customer, not the scroll.
Open a customer you haven't called in a while, and press Generate.

Seven questions to ask any AI CRM
No. Nothing on this page sends a message on its own. If you connect Claude, anything it would send waits for your yes. To have WhatsApp enquiries answered, see how Palby answers WhatsApp enquiries.
Summaries and business cards go to Google's Gemini. Spreadsheet columns go to TypeSafe first, then Gemini. Claude only reads your pipeline if you connect it yourself.
For a summary, that one customer's record, chats and tasks. For an import, the names of the columns it couldn't match and three sample values each. For a card, the photo.
Yes, so nothing it does is final until you've seen it. Import guesses are labelled for checking, a card's fields wait for you to check them, and a summary says when it's out of date.
No. It's fixed rules, and the record shows each line, so you can see why someone is Hot or Cold.
The summary only runs when you press Generate. Column matching runs when you load a file to import.
