- Start at nine, dressedEvery weekday at 9:00Dressed, at a table, the day's three tasks written down by nine. Stop at five; evenings are off.
- Two tailored applicationsEvery weekday, 2 timesRewrite the top third of your CV in the role's own words, then apply on MyCareersFuture, LinkedIn or the company's site. Log the company, role, date and link.
- Two messages to people insideEvery weekday, 2 timesA short note to someone who works where you want to: why them, one question, a request for 15 minutes. Ask for advice, not a job.
- Follow up on applicationsEvery Thu at 10:00Anything a week old with no reply gets one polite follow-up to the recruiter or hiring manager. After two follow-ups, move on.
- Interview practice out loud2 times a weekAnswer three common questions out loud and record them on your phone. Each answer: the situation, what you did, the result, in under two minutes.
- Friday tallyEvery Fri at 16:00Count applications, messages, replies and interviews. Keep doing what got replies and change what got silence.
About this pack
Looking for work is a job with no manager, so the routines play that part. A fixed start, a few good applications rather than many careless ones, people before portals, and practice that is spoken, not only read.
How to use it in Palby Planner
- 1Open Routines and press Packs.
- 2Find Job search week and open it. Every routine is ticked, with its day and time.
- 3Untick any you don't want. A routine you already have is shown, and it isn't added twice.
