- 5 at a set time
- Reminders when they are due
Exam year at home
Days and times are the pack's own. Change any of them after you add it.
- Sunday plan togetherEvery Sun at 19:00Fifteen minutes with your child: the week's tuition, CCA and homework, and one revision goal per subject. Let them write it; you ask questions.
- Saturday timed paperEvery Sat at 9:00Set out a past-year paper at a clear table, under exam time. Mark it together after a break and pick two mistakes to redo.
- Ten minutes, not about schoolEvery day at 21:00Ask about their day, their friends, a show. School only if they bring it up.
- Screens off at tenEvery day at 22:00Every phone and tablet in the house charges outside the bedrooms from 10pm, yours included. Sleep does more for memory than a late hour of revision.
- Check Parents GatewayEvery Wed at 20:00Read the week's school notices, sign the forms, and put test and exam dates in the family calendar the same night.
- An outing with no marksOnce a weekOne meal or outing a week where nobody mentions marks or results. Put it in the calendar like a tuition class.
About this pack
For parents with a child sitting PSLE, O-levels or A-levels. Your job is the frame around the studying: a calm plan, practice under time, enough sleep, and a home where marks are not the only topic.
