About this template
Moving has a few hard deadlines and a hundred small jobs around them. The ones that hurt are the ones remembered late: the notice period, the utilities, the address on your bank account.
Dates count forward from today, with move day eight weeks out. Packing goes room by room, least-used rooms first. In Singapore that includes the HDB or landlord handover and SP utilities; elsewhere, use your own.
Tips from the template
- Apply it about eight weeks before you move, or shift the dates.
- Label a box with its room and a number, and write the number on the packing task.
- Keep the essentials box with you on the day.
