Where Sunsama is strong

Sunsama is a daily planner first. It walks you through planning your day, puts tasks and meetings in one plan, and closes the day with a shutdown and your highlights. It has focus mode and Pomodoro timers, and it pulls work in from Asana, Trello, Jira, email, Slack and Teams, and syncs both ways with Google, Outlook and Apple calendars. If your day starts in those tools, it fits better.

The three differences that matter

Routines and habits sit on the plan

Set a routine once and it comes back on the days you picked, on tomorrow's timetable. If it isn't done by its time, you get a Telegram message. Habits keep a streak, with the last 30 days at a glance.

Capture from a chat

Type it, say it or snap it in Telegram, and it's filed as a task or a note in the planner. Useful in a queue, or with your hands full.

Goals and notes in the same account

Set a goal with a number and a date, and each month shows what it still needs. Notes sit in folders beside your tasks, with voice notes.

Switching in three steps

  1. Book a 30-minute walkthrough and see a day planned on your own calendar.
  2. Connect Google Calendar, then add this week's tasks. There's no import from Sunsama yet.
  3. Set up the routines you do every week, so tomorrow starts with them already on the timetable.
