About this template
Overload rarely comes from one big thing. It comes from forty small yeses nobody wrote down: the committee, the favour, the weekly call, the side project. This project is a one-off audit. List every commitment by area, then go through them and decide what stays.
The last section holds the conversations you need to have to hand things back. Those are the tasks that free the time.
Tips from the template
- List first, judge later. Write everything down before deciding anything.
- For each one ask: would I say yes to this today?
- Renegotiating counts: less often, smaller, or with a partner.
