Sales activity tracking

Best sales activity tracking software for seeing the team's week by Wednesday

Six tools that count calls, meetings and deals, compared on how the numbers get in, what they cost and who each one suits.

We make ActivityTracker. It's in this list, and so are five tools that suit some teams better.

Quick picks

  • ActivityTracker: best when reps log their own calls and meetings on their phones, with no CRM to feed it.
  • HubSpot Sales Hub: best for tracking deals through a pipeline with marketing attached.
  • Pipedrive: best for a visual deal pipeline at a low per-seat price.
  • Close: best for phone-heavy teams that want calls logged by the dialer.
  • Spotio: best for field reps on the road, with visits checked by location.
  • Plecto: best for putting numbers you already have in other systems on a TV dashboard.

How we picked

  • How the numbers get in. By the rep in one tap, by a dialer, by GPS, or from a CRM someone has to keep clean.
  • How soon a manager sees the week. Wednesday matters more than month end.
  • The price you can see without a sales call.
  • Who the vendor says it's for.

ActivityTracker

We make ActivityTracker.

Your reps tap in each call, meeting and proposal the moment it's done, and you see the week rep by rep while it's still happening, and anyone with nothing logged for seven days lands on your Gone quiet list. On Friday each rep files a short check-in with their numbers already filled in, so the Monday meeting starts with numbers.

  • Best for: teams of 5 to 30 who sell on the phone and in person and don't have a clean CRM feeding anything.
  • Pick something else if: your deals already live in a CRM your team keeps up to date and you want reports built on it. Plecto or HubSpot fit that.
  • Price: SGD 34 a month per person, plus a one-time setup fee, from our pricing page.

HubSpot

The product here is HubSpot Sales Hub, on top of HubSpot's free CRM.

HubSpot's sales tracking tracks deals through pipelines by stage and value, forecasts revenue, scores prospects, creates tasks and runs workflows, with a mobile app for iOS and Android.

  • Best for: teams that track deals and want marketing and email on the same platform.
  • Pick something else if: what you need counted is daily calls and meetings more than deal stages.
  • Price: the free CRM covers two users and 1,000 contacts, from their CRM page on 27 September 2026. Sales Hub prices are on their pricing page.

Pipedrive

Pipedrive tracks your sales pipeline, manages deals with AI and automates follow-ups. It adds forecasting, goal-setting and team monitoring, and 500+ integrations.

  • Best for: small teams that sell deal by deal and want a clear visual pipeline.
  • Pick something else if: your reps won't open a CRM between meetings.
  • Price: Lite US$14, Growth US$39, Premium US$59, Ultimate US$79 per seat a month, billed annually, from their pricing page on 27 September 2026. 14-day free trial, no credit card.

Close

Close puts calling, email, SMS and your pipeline in one CRM, with a built-in power dialer that logs calls as they happen and an AI agent, Chloe, that can call and qualify new prospects. Close says 11,500 sales teams use it.

  • Best for: inside sales teams making a lot of calls from a desk.
  • Pick something else if: your team meets clients face to face and needs to log the meeting, not the dial.
  • Price: from their pricing page on 27 September 2026, Solo is US$19 per user a month or US$9 on annual billing, and the plans run up to Scale at US$149 or US$139.

Spotio

Spotio is built for field sales. Reps log visits with one tap, and GPS coordinates and timestamps verify each one. Its DASH AI drafts visit notes and follow-ups, and it adds route planning, territories and team leaderboards.

  • Best for: reps who drive between visits, where the manager needs to see where the time went.
  • Pick something else if: your team is small and you'd rather see a price before a demo.
  • Price: user-based, with B2B and B2C plans. Request a demo for a quote.

Plecto

Plecto pulls numbers from your CRM, phone system and helpdesk into real-time KPI dashboards for the office TV, with contests, rewards and coaching tools. It lists 150+ integrations.

  • Best for: teams whose data already sits in other systems and who want it on a screen.
  • Pick something else if: nothing clean is feeding it yet. Plecto shows the numbers other tools collect.
  • Price: Medium is US$24 a month per tracked license and Large is US$37.20, minimum 10 licenses, billed annually, from their pricing page on 27 September 2026. There's a 14-day free trial.

How to choose, by your situation

  • Nobody updates the CRM, and you find out a rep went quiet at month end: ActivityTracker.
  • Your team lives on the phone at desks: Close.
  • Your reps drive between customers: Spotio.
  • Your numbers are already in a CRM and you want them on a screen: Plecto.
  • You sell deal by deal and want a pipeline: Pipedrive or HubSpot.
