About this template
A roadmap with dates on everything is out of date within a month. This one uses horizons instead: Now is being built, Next is decided and waiting, Later is likely but not committed. The Not doing column records the things you said no to, and why.
Each card is a problem to solve, written the way a customer would put it. The monthly review keeps the columns honest.
Tips from the template
- Write cards as problems: "Owners cannot see who is late".
- Keep Now short, three to five cards.
- Move a card to Not doing with a reason rather than deleting it.
How to use it in ActivityTracker
- 1Open Tasks and choose Templates.
- 2Find Product roadmap and open it. You see every section and task before anything is added.
- 3Check the name the new project gets, and change it if you like.
- 4Press Use template. Rename the project, then work down the list.
