About this template

The pomodoro technique is a timer and a rule: work on one thing for 25 minutes, then stop for 5. After four rounds, take a longer break. It helps most on work you keep putting off, because 25 minutes is short enough to start.

This project lays out one morning of four pomodoros with the breaks between. Each task has its length set. You can run each block as a focus session.

Tips from the template

  • Name the task for each pomodoro before you start the first.
  • If something comes to mind mid-block, write it in Interruptions and carry on.
  • Count how many pomodoros a job took. Your estimates get better.
