Desk stretches: a 3-minute set with a timer

Six moves, 30 seconds each, with a timer and Palby showing you how.

The six moves

  1. Neck tilt. Ear to shoulder, slow, then the other side.
  2. Shoulder rolls. Big slow circles back, then forward.
  3. Chest opener. Hands behind you, open your chest and breathe.
  4. Seated twist. Turn from the waist and hold the back of the chair.
  5. Wrist circles. Circle both wrists, then shake them out.
  6. Seated reach. Arms up, reach tall and lean a little each way.

One minute is the first two moves. Three minutes is all six.

Go gently, and stop if anything hurts. If you've got an injury or a sore back that won't settle, ask a doctor or physio which of these suit you.

Common questions

Can I do these at my desk?

Yes. All six work sitting in a normal chair. You don't need to change clothes or get up.

How often should I do them?

Whenever you remember. Once is better than none, and no one's counting.

Do I need an account?

No. Press start. Nothing's saved.
