Get a free wa.me link and QR code for your bio, website or name card. The number is checked and the message encoded, so the chat opens the way you meant.
It takes a minute, and the link changes as you type.
Put it where a client would look for your number.
Four mistakes the generator fixes before you share the link. Put the same numbers in and you'll get the same links.
In the UK, 07700 900123 becomes wa.me/447700900123. The 0 you dial at home comes out and 44 goes in front. Leave the 0 in and WhatsApp can't find the number.
The +, the spaces, the dashes and the brackets all come out, so +1 (202) 555-0147 becomes wa.me/12025550147. WhatsApp asks for digits only.
An & in your message becomes %26. Left as it is, "After 3pm & before 5" arrives as "After 3pm", because the link reads the rest as something else.
A digit short gets caught. Singapore numbers have 8 digits after +65, so 8123 456 gets a warning, not a link.
The generator is free. ActivityTracker, the app we make, is paid, and it's where those chats land when you link your number.
It's WhatsApp's own click to chat address. Tap it and a chat with that number opens, on a phone or on WhatsApp Web, without saving the number first.
Almost always the number. It needs the country code, and none of the 0, +, spaces or brackets you'd dial at home. Check that the number reads back right above the link, and that it has WhatsApp.
Yes. What you write goes into the link, and it's typed into the chat when they open it. They can change it before they send.
Yes. A link with only a message, wa.me/?text= and the words, opens the person's contact list, so they choose who to send it to.
Put in your number and the QR code appears beside the link. Download it for your name card or flyer, and scan it with your own phone before you print.
Yes. The link opens a chat with the number, whichever WhatsApp app is on it.
Yes. The link opens an ordinary chat, so your away message, quick replies or an AI agent answer it the same way they answer any other.
A link costs nothing to make or open. Meta charges per message only on its WhatsApp Business Platform, with rates by country and rate cards in SGD for Singapore. Since 1 October 2026, replies past 1,000 a month per number are charged too. Meta's pricing page, checked 1 October 2026, has the current rates.
Yes. There's no sign-up, and a wa.me link has no expiry: it works for as long as your number has WhatsApp.
Keep using the generator for free. The app is for when the chats start coming in.
