WhatsApp workflow for financial advisors

Claim alert: every step, in order, before you switch it on

The one thing worth interrupting everything for. Anybody who says claim, hospital or accident gets a person within the minute and a straight list of what is needed.

  • When: Chat starts

Somebody mentions a claim

Every message as it is sent. The app puts your own name and business where it says [Your name] and [Your business], {{Name}} is the contact's first name, and a word that starts with $ is filled in from the chat.

When: Chat starts

Only when their last message contains claim, claims, hospital, admitted, accident, surgery, diagnosed

  1. 1

    Send a message

I am sorry to hear that, {{Name}}. [Your name] here and I am on this now. --- When you have a moment, a photo of the bill or the discharge summary is usually all I need to start. There is no rush - deal with the important things first and send it when you can.

  2. 2

    Add a private note

    CLAIM mentioned: $contact.last_incoming_message

  3. 3

    Add or remove tags

    Add: claim

  4. 4

    Hand to a person

    Hands the chat to you

What it does

The one thing worth interrupting everything for. Anybody who says claim, hospital or accident gets a person within the minute and a straight list of what is needed.

How to use it in ActivityTracker

  1. 1Open Workflows and choose Start with a template.
  2. 2Pick the one called "Somebody mentions a claim". It opens as a draft with every step drawn and your name and business filled in.
  3. 3Change any words you like, then press Test to try it in a test chat.
  4. 4Publish it when it reads right. Nothing is sent before that, and you can stop it any time.

It sends from the WhatsApp you already use, linked as a device the way WhatsApp Web is. WhatsApp's help centre warns that linking through unofficial apps "may put your account at risk", so workflow messages wait their turn at your number's pace.
